Classy & Industrial September Wedding at My Favorite Venue – The Standard in Rockford IL

Haley and Rafael got married on a hot September day at my favorite wedding venue: The Standard on State in Rockford IL. Their wedding day was classic and sophisticated, with pops of pink and crystal chandeliers. Their beautiful day had so many romantic and sentimental moments – Haley sharing tears getting ready with mom and at the first look with dad, Rafi seeing her as she walked down the aisle, and during their vows. There were also plenty of funny moments like when the flower girl stood in the aisle during the ceremony and when Haley Iced Rafi during the garter toss. The whole day was filled with memorable moments, some unexpected rain, and lots of love.

Rafael & Haley are the kind of people you meet and feel like you’ve know since kindergarten. They laugh easy, party hard, and are kind and down to earth. Plus they both have impeccable taste, which is easy to see throughout their wedding day. Their love and devotion to each other is so apparent in every interaction they have together (see their engagement session blog post here). I knew when I first met them that their wedding day was going to be beautiful and so special to be a part of which it was. And of course the bride and groom had to do a classic champagne spray with their wedding party and their faces say it all… so overjoyed to finally be married!!!
