Noelle is Russell’s cousin, so when I was looking for some couples who were interested in shooting in downtown Chicago, I immediately thought of her and her boyfriend since they live in Oak Park and Wicker Park! Her and Justice have dated for over a year and we love having them at parties we host! Plus they are both stunning AND well dressed!
I was a very cold February day in the windy city, and Noelle’s first outfit she rented got delayed, so she found this beautiful champagne dress for $27! I would say it turned out better than we hoped! The only bummer was it was short sleeved with a slit on the leg which looked amazing on her, but we het to grab some coffee from Peet’s Coffee to stay warm! We made sure to get photos at the Wrigley Building in downtown because of it’s stunning architecture, and it’s close to the riverwalk!
After that we headed to North Avenue Beach to catch the last light and the beautiful Chicago skyline on the background. Thankfully the second look was a long, elegant black dress paired with a leather jacket which kept Noelle much warmer! Her makeup held up in the cold so well because Carolyn Meinstma did her makeup! After the shoot we went back to Justice’s place in Wicker Park to change into warmer clothes and then we went to Iron Age Korean Steakhouse where they cook the meat in front of you and it was sooooo good! I’ll definitely be back again, hopefully in warmer weather!
[…] All 3 of these photos were taken a few minutes apart at the Wrigley Building. You can see how this spot is perfect. for a downtown Chicago engagement session, not just because it’s a famous building that’s associated with Chicago, but also because you can get architecture, the riverwalk and skyscrapers, and so much more all in one location. Lots of variety and options in one location! Find more photos of this location and how amazing it looks, even in February on the blog. […]
