{Blake&Linda//Engagement}

Blake and Linda were the winners of the free engagement contest from the Northern Illinois Bridal Expo! Our setting: a rare sunny day in March in Lincoln Park, Chicago. The sun was setting beautifully over the city, and there were families and kids in the background of the park enjoying the fifty-five degree day that gave us a bit of hope that spring is still coming.

Our session started out in front of the conservatory, where Blake proposed to Linda. Meeting them felt like meeting up with old friends. Their relationship has such an ease, and they are both warm and conversational which made it so easy to capture them! Blake picked out a classic, stunning solitaire ring that Linda was more than happy to show off! We walked through the park chatting about their upcoming wedding and stopping every few minutes where there was gorgeous sunlight, a skyline backdrop, or a stunning building to set the scene. I can’t wait to get to be a part of their wedding in May and watch them tie the knot!
