Hawaiian Inspired Microwedding at the Lincoln Park Honeycomb in Chicago

Brett and Tara got a few weeks into wedding planning and realized a big wedding wasn’t for them. So they pivoted to having all the best parts of a wedding – a gorgeous ceremony space the the Honeycomb at the Lincoln Park Zoo, stunning Hawaiian-inspired florals and lei’s from Brett’s side of the family, amazing portraits, a 10 course tasting dinner at Girl and the Goat, and of course their dog had to join in too!

They wanted photos in the Lincoln Boardwalk nature setting and they also asked to stop at Burwood Tap, a classic Chicago dive bar, for photos where they had their first date. We had to grab photos at the pool table, snacking on the free popcorn and drinking cocktails out of plastic cups before heading the the Michelin star restaurant for dinner. Why plan a big stressful wedding when you can just elope with your immediate families and enjoy your day?!?
