Emotional March Spring Wedding at Arrowhead Golf Course in Wheaton, IL

Sarah & Mario are two of the kindest people you will ever meet. When we first met on a video call about wedding photography, their deep love for each other was so apparent. Through every email and meeting they radiated joy, and had such a positive attitude about their wedding day. Rain, nor shine, venue changes nor a global pandemic were going to take the joy out of their day.

They got married at Sarah’s home church in Naperville, and they shared a first touch so they could spend a few minutes together without spoiling their long awaited first glance at each other when Sarah walked down the aisle. It was one of Sarah’s favorite moments sharing love letters together and anticipate seeing each other at the altar. There were so many emotions throughout the day from a little bit of nerves and lots of excitement to tears of joy, and lots of stolen looks of admiration you could see on Mario’s face when he would look at his bride.

They rented a classic 1940’s limo to take them from the wedding to the reception and they made for the most classy portraits. It was one of the groom’s favorite part’s of the day getting to spend the ride there together and soak up the newlywed bliss. While the forecast called for rain all day, we never felt a drop, and we even had moments when the sun would pop out for a few minutes to celebrate with them. They are both adventurous and love being outdoors together and I’m sure there are many many more adventures to come for them as husband and wife!
