Golden Hour Winter Engagement Session at Willams Tree Farm in Rockton, IL with Champagne!

Who said you can’t do your engagement photos in the winter? Ashley, Tanyon and I had so much fun at their engagement photos, even in the snow mid-February! I did a wedding at Williams Tree Farm in Rockton a few years ago and I fell in love with their venue, so I knew a winter engagement shoot would be stunning here. The snow was perfectly white and fluffy which looked beautiful with the Christmas trees and golden hour light in the background. Ashley’s red tulle skirt was borrowed from our anniversary photos and it was the best compliment to all the other winter colors!

We started out in the forest in the pine trees and they were both so natural together in front of the camera! They were so flexible to every idea I had, and Ashley braved the snow in flats to get some beautiful pictures. Their session ended with champagne and a stunning sunset sky. Shoutout to Tanyon for helping me for get my car out of the snow for 10 minutes 😂

If you are looking for the perfect setting for photos, definitely consider winter! If the snow is white and its warm enough you can have some fun making magic together. The tulle skirt was from Amazon, check out what colors and styles they have that would add a little fun to your engagement photos! And in my opinion, every couple should bring some bubbly to their engagement shoot to celebrate!
